I have just made contact with Karen Finch-Turner, a descendant of William Phillips, son of James and Susannah. Karen has William born in Ightham in c 1821 and dying in Dartford in c 1896. I have him born c 1821, in the 1841 census age 20 but dying c 1843. Want to make sure Karen and I do have the same William. Does anyone else have anything in him please?

There is a whole page in the wiki called "What happened to William Phillips" explaining why we believed it was our William that was buried in 1843, but I've just found the baptism in Stone near Dartford in 1819, son of James and Susannah, which matches the age at burial of 24 of the William buried in Dartford in 1843, so their William must be someone else.

Their William, who dies in 1896, marries Amy Blundell in Ash (in Dartford registration district) on 26th July 1845, and the parish register shows that his father is a John Phillips. He is presumably the William Phillips aged 20 in Farningham on the 1841 census.
